Grenada teams up 4 Penn Relays / 2012 Olympics

Grenada will enter two relay teams at this week’s Penn Relays in Philadelphia, PA. The teams are attempting to qualify for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Women’s 4x400m Relay Team: Allison George, Trish Bartholomew, Janelle Redhead, Kanika Beckles, and Neisha Bernard-Thomas.
Men’s 4x400m Relay Team: Rondell Bartholomew, Kirani James, Joel Redhead, Kevin Bowen, and Kemon Herry. The coach is Albert Joseph.
Since 1895, the Penn Relays has been revered worldwide as one of the greatest track and field events in the history of the sport. With over 22,000 entries, and an anticipated 110,000 spectators in attendance, it surpasses all other meets but the Olympic Games and World Championships.
Rondell Bartholomew recently opened his outdoor season with a world leading 44.65 in the 400m @ the Texas Tech Invitational on April, 2nd 2011.
