Update: Mavado’s friend in intensive care has succumed to injuries

Update the man who was shot at Bounty’s Bday Bash this Sunday has died.
Alliance members have yet to make an official statement regarding the death of their good friend and companion, Conroy Edwards.
Footage from the club hasn’t been released yet but according to Alliance Jamaica twitter the footage clearly shows that Mavado’s entire party was well past security check points as Mavado and friends have asserted since the incident occurred this past Sunday night.
According to the message recorded by Mavado yesterday the bullet was aimed at Vado and Conroy stepped in front of him. The young man from Cassava has been in intensive care all week due to the gunshot wound to the stomach. This news comes as a bitter reminder of how fragile our lives are and how quickly they can be stolen. The question remains will the police who committed this murder be held accountable?
Having successfully charged Mavado with assault this story sounds eerily similar to another recent murder of a youth by police who are attempting to shift the blame and turn the victims into criminals. People see. Condolences go out to his close loved ones as well as the entire Alliance family.
