Farmer Alan Graham said that he’d never heard of popstar Rhianna when her people called requesting to shoot part of her “We Found Love” video on his farm in Northern Ireland.
“Someone explained she was as big as it gets as far as pop stars were concerned,” he told British newspaper The Telegraph. “I am a bit illiterate about those issues.”
Graham who owns 60 acres just outside of Bangor, Ireland agreed to the terms and even pitched in a bit using his tractor to pull some recording equipment out of the mud. The barley field stands next to a busy road and traffic quickly came to a stand still as cars slowed or pulled over completely to watch the video shoot.
As Graham was heading home he spotted the singer sashaying through the barley wearing a red bikini. “I realized things had got to a stage which were not acceptable to me,” he said. “Things became inappropriate and I asked the film crew to stop.”
His wife told CNN that the problem was more than the bikini.
“What she was doing became more inappropriate…When she started to go topless, that’s what Alan was particularly objecting to—things were getting out of hand. There was a man as well, and the behavior was getting more inappropriate. … It wasn’t the sort of thing Alan wanted young people to see on his land. We are Christians.” Mrs. Graham noted.
Graham told The Telegraph that there was no “firm arrangement” about how they’d use the field, and he also feels that he didn’t make his own expectations clear to Rihanna’s crew. “There were no hard feelings,” he said.
“…I have not received any payment at this moment in time and I don’t know if I will be paid. I don’t want to say what I said to Rihanna or what she said to me. We had a conversation. We shook hands and parted company on good terms. I found her very gracious, and I hope she understands where I’m coming from. I wish her well.” He told reporters.
Rhianna who is the newest face for Armani Emporio is reported to have Irish ancestry. She was in Ireland this week to perform at 3 sold-out shows at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast.

The J.O.P family is wishing him a speedy recovery.
Bounty Killa and Beenie Man are at it again. The deejays who’ve performed side by side on countless stage shows in recent times seemed to have put their lyrical differences behind them.
A friendly war arose early this year with Bounty’s Boardhouse release entitled Ready Fi Dem which warned Beenie not to mention his name in a song again. This was followed by Beenie’s Nuh Talk too Long on SEANIZZLES sizzling Hungry Dawg Riddim. Neither song appeared to strike an offensive chord with either artist. It wasn’t until Killa released Who tell Him Dweet about a week ago that things started heating back up.
Beenie Man quickly countered that effort with Da Idiot Song Deh dissing Matterhorn latest Dancehall Duppy release and throwing low blows at the Warlord as Killa described it via Twitter;
Beenie said I took 4 months to ansa the first song so I’m showing him I can be precise mi just did sorry 4 him but him go low blows bout tax man took my vehicles that’s not war lyrics I’m trading bullets but he is trading insults so I just insulted worst then yow and my mode is dark right now Warlord Nuh Business….!!!
The counteraction entitled Run Inna War released this week beats back at Beenie digging up Beenie’s recent divorce and disagreements with Shebada as ammunition; “Just shut up Shebada come pan TV and sey yu buss up and yu jus tek it silent and hush up – few time mi kill yuh and yu a huff up and puff up.”
Beenie has been quiet about reigniting the new war but his publicist Claude Mills has stated that Beenie had expressed that Bounty Killer went too far in his latest diss towards him. Beenie’s counteraction to Run Inna War entitled Cah Puff Mi Chest was released just yesterday.
Warlord tweeted this reaction to Beenie’s latest effort;
ME A DEAD WID LAUGH!! Me hear BEENIE MAN do waa new song! And him say, quote ” FI MI FI FUCK A MAN THAT’S HIGHLY UN-LIKELY” ……. Wah dat really mean? “Un-likely” have the same meaning as “might be” Wait till Killa reply! Di whole place ago shake! Earthquake! ……. I SEE DEAD PEOPLE (musically speaking).
…And the War Continues.

According to the Associated Press Guyana’s state owned radio network has banned Vybz Kartel from local airwaves.
National Communications Network spokesman Martin Goolsarran publicly stated on Wednsday that the music was banned because it brings “nothing positive” to the entertainment industry of the South American country.
Goolsarran went on to note that the decision was made after a week of internal debate and they will be reviewing the lyrics of other musicians who could face banning as well. This is the first time that the Guyanese government has taken such action against any specific artist.
Kartel recently angered local promoters and the Tourism Ministry for his missed appearance at last month’s highly advertized Jam Zone Summer Break citing death threats as the reason.
Reggae artist Lutan Fyah has released a statement to the press refuting recent rumors that he died while onstage in Zimbabwe.
“I want the whole world to know that Lutan Fyah is alive and well. I heard that people are spreading a terrible rumour that I died on stage at an event in Zimbabwe and I don’t like that, things like these are very disturbing, I don’t want my fans or my family or my friends to suffer any emotional distress because of these lies,” said the artiste.
He went on to express his shock and dismay upon being notified of the matter; “My publicist contacted me by phone earlier today and told me what was going on. Believe me, I was so shocked. Well fortunately for me it’s just a rumour. I am not even gonna let it stress me, right now…”
The alleged concert where “he collapsed” does not take place until tomorrow. Lutan Fyah flew into Zimbabwe this Sunday for his Friday performance at the Kebab Centre in the capital city of Harare.
As far as how the African tour has been going for the artist, Lutan noted that it has been successful. Before arriving in Zimbabwe he stopped over in South Africa to appear in a couple of club shows which he says were well received. He also said he was able to get into the studio and record alongside several major African hip hop artists.
Lutan Fyah is scheduled to head back to South Africa for a show in Cape Town taking place September 24th. He also plans to shoot a video for the single Girl Come Over before he departs Africa.
