Mavado opens up about Gully/Alliance feud and police allegations

Mavado opened up for the first time since the onset of the Gully/Alliance feud stating; “Mavado and Killa caan neva war….you know mi no think a person can really live long enough to see dat…“ The StarBwoy also touches on the recent police and media reports which alleged that he and his entourage attacked a man in the road with a machete.

At times the media just feed offa the negative the negativity…if you notice even in Jamaica just like the other day dem say bwoy mi chop up people and all kinda ting and it didnt even a go a quarter like that I dont touch anybody…all i did was drive my vehicle, a man block up the road inna di night mi na know him mi na know where him come from. Him and different man inna argument mi na kno wha gwan. Mi no kno if man plan fi do me something or whatever…so mi just drive my vehicle you kno and mi touch a man car door and mi drive gone…
…you know cause in the first place mi and you come from opposite directions you no supposed to drive and stop inna the middle of the road inna night I dont know you… I dont know where your from. I dont know nothing about you, I neva see you yet inna my life. And at the end of the day the media just blow it outta proportion and just talk a bagga tings say bwoy mi chop up people dis and dat and nothing happen like that. I dont charge for choppin up people or anything like that…
Mavado is a youth like this wey right now mi jus a try to lead my career…mi a try to take it to a different level…cause i got dancehall and reggae music pon mi shoulder. And right now mi a try to take it to an international level with even DJ Khalid We the Best and Gullyside…so right now mi dont even have time for the bag of negativity.
Regarding the alleged subsequent bribe which allegedly stemmed from the same locally highly publicized incident, Mavado asserted;
I dont know nothing about that….There wasn’t anything for me to bribe anyone about or anything nothing happened for dat to happen…but you done know when you run them wan u crawl when you rise dem want you fall…My victory is for Jamaica and is for my fans and is for the world but mostly for the Gullyside and Jamaica…
