Popcaan heads to Europe

Popcaan will be heading overseas this week for a 2 week long tour of Europe.

This will be Popcaan’s 1st European tour as a solo and headline artist.

He will makes stops in places like Portugal, France, Sweden and Switzerland to name a few.

The deejay will return to Jamaica just in time for Reggae Sumfest and a string of shows throughout the Caribbean during the summer season.

Usain Bolt in Traffic Accident

Usain  Bolt walked away from a motor accident which occurred just after 5 am on Sunday morning.

The accident happened on South Odeon Ave in Kingston.

Bolt was reportedly on his way home from a party and had just parted ways with Asafa Powell and Nesta Carter.

Bolt  and  Powell had just returned from Europe that Saturday after competing against each other in both Rome and Norway in the IAAF Diamond League Series.

The two are now prepping for the  National  Championships  which  comes  up  later  this  month.

Konshens signs deal with VP for Gal A Bubble

Subkonshus Music label has signed an exclusive licensing and distribution deal with VP Records, for his recent chart topping smash single Gal a Bubble.

Konshens has been in demand by the reggae label, which has been closely monitoring the steady progress of his career and the professionalism of his management team which comprises Miguel ‘Kitten’ Noble and Aranthes Lewin.

The team has been able to break barriers in the promotion and marketing of Konshens’ Mental Maintenance album released early this year.

The album has consistently ranked inside the top 10 on various reggae ITunes charts globally, while snagging the number one spot on several occasions.

Gal a Bubble which was produced by Subkonshus Music, has been successful in several markets outside of Jamaica including the US, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.

Ninja Man Calls It Quit With Manager

Ninja Man severed ties with his manager Chyna this week stating that there needed to me more interest and emphasis placed on his career.

He said that although Chyna is a nice woman he has yet to see the benefits of their musical collaboration.

“A nuh really split but she cyah manage mi career. I am dealing with my thing until I get people who can deal with it the way I want it to move,” Ninja Man said.

As for now Ninja says he will be responsible for his own bookings until his management issues have been sorted out.

“Persons who want to book Ninja Man will have to find me and from mi tell yu sey yu confirm dat mean sey yu confirm,” Ninja Man said.

Currently the deejay is gearing up to host a charity event to aid the development of the Jacks River Primary School.

The event will feature a host of vintage dancehall and reggae acts.

“Wi a step up wi own promotions and wi a help people by building schools and helping youth to go to school. Wi sey youth are the future and abuse fi dun,” Ninja said.

Ninja is also planning on tapping into the summer music scene with a brand new single entitled We Love It When It Real Tight.

“Mi just a duh some music wey people wahfi hear. I am doing what is right and attacking them from all angle from the dancehall, church, school, etc., dancehall is about music. I have a lot of songs that I made in prison but for now I am just doing some songs that the youth can relate to. Nuh man nah guh tell mi wah fi sing sey,” Ninja Man
