Natural Blacks sheds locks.
The conscious Rastafarian singer most known for his cultural lyrics and love songs has decided to cut off his locks before transitioning from his usual roots musical content into the dancehall.
According to Blacks the decision was simple, “I remove my locks because I didn’t want to violate the Rastafarian order.”
The Guyanese singer who moved to Jamaica some years ago to pursue his reggae music career has been seemingly absent from the music scene since his highly successful album Far From Reality was released in 2006.
Natural Blacks was at the center of another controversy just weeks ago when a New Jersey promoter threatened to sue the singer after he failed to attend his event despite being paid a deposit.
Blacks however explained later that the initial agreement was for him to attend an awards ceremony and not to perform.
He also stressed that he would not have even been able to perform in the US as he does not currently hold valid work permit.
