The ongoing war between Khago and Sizzla doesn’t seem to be going anywhere as the two artists continue to release tracks firing shots at one another.
The latest from Khago features a cameo from Trini rap star Foxy Brown and features the Nah Sell Out Mi Friend deejay adopting the style of his current nemesis ‘quite well’ according to some fans.

Versatile is seeking to defend his friend Popcaan with the release of his latest single entitled Just Do Dat.

When speaking to media this week Versatile gave a little background into his new feud with Demarco.
“First of all, I did a song called Give Thanks Fi Life and mi hear sey DeMarco a chat sey from him sing I Love My Life mi a follow, suh mi find out sey this thick man have thin skin suh mi a guh mek him get slim,” he said.
Versatile also sent out an informal invitation to DeMarco, citing that he should defend him self.
“DeMarco, step up to the plate and answer because mi know sey yu a talk things … guh back a gym. The obesity something deh wey yu a suffa from nah guh work inna the music business,” he said.
When contacted for comment on his issue, Demarco said there was none. Soon there-after the I Love My Life singer released a preview of his latest tune which fires back at Versatile and Popcaan. The track is entitled Until Now.

Demarco’s Kingston City has been raising eyebrows since its release about 3 weeks ago as many wonder if the tune is taking lyrical shots at popular Gaza deejay Popcaan.
Demarco spoke to the Star this week not to dispel rumors but certify them.
“People a sey a Popcaan mi a dis, well a Popcaan mi dis, whol’ heap a dem tief mi style including him,” the singjay disclosed
“It was a freestyle I did for ZJ Chrome and my mixtape, the world like it suh dem sey is a dis to Popcaan, so I guess it is so, I guess it’s a dis to Popcaan,” he laughed.

Popcaan’s April release entitled Fry Yiy is said to fire back at the I Love My Life singer.

In reference to the alleged Fry Yiy diss Demarco said, “Him a sey artiste fi write some hit song and stop cry, but him nuh mek no song big like I Love My Life, I got 25 million views on YouTube and I have been all over the world.”
Demarco recently recorded a new rebuttal also produced by ZJ Chrome. A preview of the track was released just days ago on the TNS riddim. Take a listen.

DeMarco is currently gearing up for a European Tour and his Nuh Dirt mixtape is expected to be released next week.
In a recent interview Tifa spoke out about the imbalance of respect in dancehall.
The Nuvo Brand Ambassador who rose quickly to the upper echelons of the dancehall fraternity in 2010 says she has faced her share of adversity during her ascent to the top.
“I don’t feel they give women the respect they deserve…To me we haffi work harder, me did haffi work three hundred times harder cause when I started, everyone saw my legs, nobody neva did hear wah come out a mi mouth or go ‘Oh, she too cute fi a sing Dancehall’ cause at that particular time you had to look a certain way, dress a certain way, act a certain way to be a Dancehall artiste and I guess I kinda broke the mold,” she said.
“Yuh have a one man weh come out wid a one gimmick song and dem gi him seh a million dollars to perform and you’ll have a veteran in the business, a woman with a catalogue and they wanna give you less than half of that,” she said.
“Nuff a di man dem jus’ go out deh and sing dem song, nuff a di man nuh know nutten bout performance. Yuh jus’ have a string a hits and yuh go out deh and sing and a woman haffi go out dere and work fi her own. I don’t think that’s fair in terms of monetary balance.”
Despite percieved obstacles Tifa appears stronger and poised for continued success in 2012.
The deejay has already scored a hit collab with Konshens entitled Destiny and another with Laza Morgan called Love Me 2 while prepping for the summer release of her debut album.

Naturally Ninja’s first collab since being released on bail would be alongside Kiprich who murdered Merciless at Sting in the recent years that Ninja Man has been absent.

This month Stein and Tiana jumped on The New Planet Records production for “Long Distance Relationship.”
This collab shows a softer side of the usually quick spitting deejay as he sings alongside Tiana known for some of her racy remixes of of dancehall’s hottest tunes.
This soft melody touches on the struggles of the infamous “Long Distance Relationship,” and people are feeling it so far.

While critics and fans continue to argue that dancehall is lacking that one artist to fill the gaping hole left by the incarceration of Kartel last year, artists seem to be adapting to the times and the link up may just be the key to pulling dancehall back into its shining light.
No more beef just music is what Spring seems to offering as collaborations from some unlikely artists are popping up and bubbling all over the net.
The Stinking Link Riddim released about a week ago featured a few examples. DHU told you about Jah Vinci and Ryno‘s collab for Rich We Say surprising fans and industry insiders alike who were beginning to believe the the charismatic duo would never reunite to follow up their 09′ Gaza hit Mi Feel A Way.
The same riddim featured another unlikely duo Konshens and Beenie Man who jumped on the track Look Pon Mi.
Konshens just released his debut album Mental Maintenance last month which is doing well internationally. Beenie is preparing for the release of his latest album King in Control, though continues to struggle to make appearances overseas in the US in particular where he remains unable to obtain a work permit.
Stinking Link also featured another surprise and that was Elephant Man and Tarrus Riley’s, Time To Party while Chino and Versatile ‘s All Dem a Talk also brought some more party vibes to the sizzling riddim.
Despite all the link ups Stinking Link had to offer it was the Queen, Lady Saw who (arguably) took the riddim and may be setting the stage to snatch that coveted top spot for 2012.
Saw’s catchy Unfollow on Stinking Link comically fires back at her most recent cyber haters and will likely 
set a new chat for the summer.
Last month Lady Saw linked with Elephant Man for the dancehall bubbla Siddung Pon It.
And just last week it was Truckback Records explicit Sex Tape Riddim that featured Lady Saw’s Mr. Short Cummings and No Sucker which both became instant hits and is contributing to Sexx Tape’s early success and Lady Saw’s continued dominance as the top female artist in the dancehall game.

Ryno and JahVinci reunite for Rich We Seh on the Stinking Link Riddim released this week.
The highly anticipated collab aims to recreate the creative chemistry the two former Gaza artists shared prior to Ryno’s very public departure in 2010.
While on the Gaza Jah Vinci an Ryno collaborated on a number of tracks including; Fight Fi War, Gyal Bend Ova and arguably their biggest hit together Mi Feel A Way on the England Town Riddim.
Rich We Seh produced by Romeich Records is already garnering positive feedback from fans who say its been a long time coming.
